We have two superbly appointed self-catering holiday chalets, on the bay here at Carrick Shore, and only 100 yards from the main beach.

Carrick Shore enjoys a unique rural setting providing a romantic hideaway for couples, or with its safe sandy beach, an ideal place for old fashioned family holidays.

The various chalets, some of recent construction and others long established are positioned informally amid the gorse and rough grasses of the shore largely without site demarcation, and in a way and manner in sympathy with the splendour of the overall setting.

Only three miles from Gatehouse of Fleet and the various services of this delightful small town, Carrick Shore is a haven of peace and tranquillity reflecting in its way the overall beauty and charm of the Stewartry District of which it forms part.

There are many lovely walks beginning from Carrick, or you can enjoy swimming, sailing, windsurfing or canoeing in the bay. For the less energetic why not relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility, meet up with friends and have a barbecue with a glass of wine or two. For a special treat for the children visit Cream O Galloway adventure playground and sample one of their delicious ice creams.

However you spend your time, you will want to return again and again, as many of our guests already do.
